The Sons of None
"We are the Sons of None"
A small band of rogues and mercenaries from a village in the Stormvald Mountains. All of them coming from a "troubled" upbringing, the companions found a camaraderie within one another. The name came from the first two members being orphaned at an early age, they would call themselves the Sons of None when people asked their name. They became more notorious for waylaying people foolish enough to travel in small groups or alone within the highland roads. After 8 years of "success" the outlaws have taken on their own crest, a proper boars head on a field of purpure, and have started traveling to take more contracts as mercenaries for hire. They now dwell within Dragonreach doing what they will.
The Darkthorn Clan
"Everything is permitted"
Commonly known as "The Thorns", this is a vicious brotherhood of cruel assassins, trained in the arts of underhanded tactics, designed to kill at all cost and to seize objective with speed and accuracy.
Men of Dragonreach fight culturally with honor, so the Thorn "Rite of Passage" is appropriately a funeral, so that they are dead to the kingdom, an are able to perform the terrible tasks asked of them.
Because they are "Dead", a Thorn bows to no king, and heeds to no morals. Their sign of respect comes from how much interest they actually take in you.
While in battle, they assign themselves to another fighting force not as mercenaries, but as a loyalty pact. They serve their "Liege Unit" for one purpose; to kill the enemy viciously and ruthlessly.
HellHammer
The house was started by Arioch Hellhammer and has about 67 members throughout the lands. They are an invite only unit and only take barrelers.To prove they have what it takes all must run the trial called The Barrel to become full members.
